The Dissent has a recoil system fully contained in the upper receiver, which allows it to mount a folding stock or brace, and even fire folded. 🤍 🤍 Cool Forgotten Weapons merch! 🤍 FN began developing the P90 in the late 1980s, actually preceding the NATO requirement that it would eventually compete for. The idea of the P90 was to develop a weapon for secondary troops to replace 9mm pistols and SMGs. There was an anticipated threat of Russian paratroops wearing armor that could defeat 9mm ball. The P90 was intended to be a light and handy weapon that was easily controllable without a tremendous about of training, and could defeat that sort of body armor. The result was the 5.7x28mm cartridge, firing a 31 grain armor-piercing bullet at 2350 fps. This was combined with a simple blowback action and a Hall-style 50-round magazine in a fully ambidextrous, bullpup layout. The gun was introduced onto the market in 1990, and has been widely purchased by security and special operations organizations. De par son look réaliste et son fonctionnement, il a toutes les chances de plaire à la fois aux tireurs pour son côté récréatif, et aux collectionneurs et cinéastes pour son réalisme visuel. Fonctionnement Les billes d'acier sont propulsées par Co2, à l'aide d'une cartouches de Co2 de 12 grammes que l'on insère dans le boîtier de culasse. Celui-ci s'ouvre à l'aide d'une goupille inspirée de l'arme originale. Le mécanisme permet un tir semi-automatique, avec une culasse mobile adoptant le système « blowback » lors de chaque tir. Le chargeur offre une belle capacité de 41 coups ! Le rail Picatinny fourni avec l'arme vous permet d'ajouter très facilement un accessoire de visée tel qu'un viseur point rouge, pour des simulations de tir rapide par exemple. Un sélecteur de tir vous permet de passer rapidement l'arme en position de sécurité, en cas de manipulation ou de transport. Réalisme Les proportions ont été respectées ainsi que de nombreuses caractéristiques du MP5 Kurtz ont été reproduites : crosse pliante amovible, levier d'armement, poignée avant, cache flammes amovible, goupilles… Le corps de l'arme est réalisé en alliage métallique de type zamak, tandis que les autres pièces sont en plastique : poignées, crosse, et accessoires.
