Studying reading comprehension questions in 《锐阅读》 (grade 7)

I bought (yet another) textbook online, and give it a whiz. It's a grade-7 textbook for reading comprehension. I find that my listening issues often stem from comprehension problems: I heard what was said, I just don't understand how to use it to deduce the correct answer. I'm just trying out this method to see if it's any good for improving my comprehension. It's certainly different to what I've done in the past.
