The grass was super long and wet and it took 11 stops/22 bags of grass to get our one acre yard done which this mower just crushed with no problem at all on only half a battery! Not only is this mower better for the planet, it has all kinds of other great benefits as well. This RYOBI 100 AH battery powered mower was on sale for $2599 before Memorial Day weekend so we ordered it and it shipped for free!!! That is $300 off the regular price 🤍 We love everything about it and especially the fact that it is virtually maintenance free compared to non electric models. The difference in price totally makes up for the cost and time associated with oil changes, fuel and air filters, the cost of gas, and of course the time and frustration attributed to all of these measures. It is also really nice to know we are not contributing emissions into the atmosphere every time we do yard work. We also both noticed how much nicer it was to not have to breath those nasty emissions in while we were driving it. We keep it plugged in when we are not using it, as RYOBI suggests, but it seems to charge pretty quickly overnight, if it is needed the next day. It is difficult for us to assess the cost of charging it due to it being such a small attribute to our overall electric usage and also having solar power, but the tiny increase, we are sure, will not even be noticeable. We will be doing a follow up video on how things are going later and also on the plow attachment, when the snow returns, so be sure to SUBSCRIBE and hit the BELL for future notifications.
