Heard a "whooshing" sound, looked up and saw a wide brown thing on the side of the kayak. Thought it was a turtle at first. Happened so fast. Didn't realize I took my left foot out of the water to brace myself from impact and actually pushed the shark's head off with it. If you asked me to do that again, even without the shark, I don't think I'd have that flexiblity. I actually only thought the shark rammed the kayak until I saw the video at home. Aloha, today we are spearfishing Hawaii Oahu at Kakaako beach park. If you are spearfishing maui, spearfishing kauai, spearfishing melbourne or spearfishing fiji, it is all very similar. You go into the water, find fish and spear it with a three prong, hawaiian sling or speargun. Normally we do a hawaii catch and cook episode but today it will be just straight spearfishing action. I hope you enjoy all the spearfishing tips and spearfishing la jolla action! Spearfishing hawaii looking for kumu, menpachi and trying to get footage with our sony action cam is difficult but with torelli gear it makes it easier. As you can see in the video we shoot lots of fish like aholehole, aweoweo, uhu and we plan to live sustainable and eventually off grid.
