Yes it's that time of the year again; the Xiaomi Mi band 5 is out! But is it really a big improvement over the Mi Band 4? Let's find out! It has kept pretty much the exact same size, looks and functionality as on the Mi Band 4. It's got a full-color AMOLED touch display and a single touch input button below the screen. The screen size is a bit bigger on the Mi Band 5. -Being 1.1" it does have a slightly higher resolution of 126 x 294 px and at 450 NIT it's also noticeably brighter. The core features like the battery, RAM, and ROM size have not changed on this model, although the accelerometer and heart rate tracker both have seen a significant improvement. In terms of functionality, it is still pretty much the same as you would have with the Mi Band 4. You can swipe horizontally on the watch face to access the shortcuts to apps you use the most. You can set up which APPS you want to be displayed here from the Mi Fit APP. When swiping up and down from the watch face you can access all the APPS on the Mi band 5. -It's still the same old that you might be familiar with, but there are a few new ones. It now has a stress level monitor, improved sleep tracking, menstrual cycle tracking, PAI, a remote camera shutter control, and a whole bunch of new fitness tracker modes. Most notably is the new magnetic charger. This means you no longer have to take the Mi Band out of the strap to charge it as you can simply attach it to the band which is a very welcome improvement. So in broad strokes; the Mi Band 5 is basically the Mi Band 4S. Sure, it's got some good upgrades, but most of these could have really just been OTA firmware upgrades on the Mi Band 4 as the majority of the changes are really software related... The most notable changes on the Mi Band 5 are the slightly bigger, and brighter screen, the improved heart rate sensor -and accelerometer, and the new magnetic charger (which also has a longer cord). So is it worth getting the Mi Band 5 over the Mi Band 4? Well, that really depends on two things. 1. How much you are willing to spend? 2. How important these newer features are for you? Even though it does not have the MAJOR upgrades you might have wanted to see, I do think that the more accurate tracking and the new charger could be reason enough for you to pick up the Mi Band 5. But now Xiaomi is doing more with their upcoming Mi Band 5 which coming really soon may be in June. Mi band 5 has been spotted in live pictures on Weibo via Gadgets360. Some sources shared pictures which showed a blue circle on Band’s screen which points us towards the Amazon Alexa support. Other than that some more exercies features also seems to be included in Mi Band 5. Along with that leaks also confirms that we will also have the SpO2 Blood Oxygen rates monitoring feature. First of lets talk about these live images of Mi Band 5 as you can see we have more details on this little display of Mi Band 5 which clearly means that this time we will see larger display. The display is hinted to be of 1.2″ instead of 0.95″ which was on Mi Band 4. This Mi Band 5 also has button as you can see on screen there is a little circle. Woah! It's the Mi band 6, already? Well yes, it is! This time around I surely didn't expect to already see Xiaomi launch the Mi Band 6, but since it's here... let's have a look! This time around the Mi band (once again) does not have any major upgrades. It does have one significant upgrade which is a 60% percent in screen size, which doesn't look like much at first sight, but it's quite a big change. Other changes include the addition of an SPO2 sensor to measure blood-oxygen levels. It now also has a total of 30 fitness trackers, which is a significant difference from previous generations. What also seems to be new is the ability to see previous workouts, something I did not see on the Mi band 4 or Mi band 5. It comes with bigger storage and ram sizes compared to the Mi band 5 as well, as it now has 2 MB of RAM (4x) and 32MB ROM (2x). And last but not least, it also has a sleep-breathing analysis, something that previous generations also did not have. Как много дезинформации в интернете. Особенно про ходовые умные девайсы. И виноваты в этом мы блогеры. Когда браслет считает вместо 10 км при беге шесть. Или экран практически отслаивается при падении. Подтармаживает прошивка и слишком быстро разряжается девайс. Думаете скрываем? Нет просто не акцентируем внимание. От чего и зачем вы сами знаете. Тьюб 286 Всем привет вы на канале польза нет. И в идеале любое сравнение должно определять победителя. Во всяком случае так делал я как и большинство в блогосфере. Но я подойду с другой стороны. На ми бэнд 4 как и на онор бэнд 5 у меня уже были обзоры на канале. И теперь я сравню их в их недостатках. И да именно так. Везде где есть достоинства – бывают и слабые места. И теперь как всегда ультра быстро. 10 различий между ми бэнд 4 и онор бэнд 5, сравним на негативе 1) Цена. С какого перепугу онор бэнд 5 выставил цену выше ми бэндов я не знаю, но я считаю что такой гигант мог бы и уступить пару долларов для приличия. Хотя это их выбор. Меня это психологически задевает 2) Подсчёт километража. Я как и вы смотрю некоторые больше каналы. Особенно обзоры на девайсы которые обозреваю я. Так вот – с какого перепугу они (и когда я говорю Они я подразумеваю несколько каналов) решили что ми бэнд 4 правильно считает километраж я не понимаю. Это самый огромный его минус. Я ходил в нём, бегал и даже плавал. В итоге вердик. Вчера была последняя капля. Дистанция ровно 10 км, два круга по 5 км. Амазфит джи ти эр показывает 10,2 км. Онор бэнд 5 8500 метров, и сколько вы думали выдаст ми бэнд 4 – 6500. Лютое расхождение. Да я лучше бы шар предсказаний потрёс чем его данным теперь доверять. 3) Автономность. Ми бэнд 4 конечно лучше онор бэнд 5 который с перманентым измерением пульса загибается уже на 5й день. Но и Ми бэнд 4 с кастомными циферблатами может умереть на 10й. При том совершенно ясно от чего он так долго живёт. 4) Функция олвэйс он дисплей. Деактивирована у всех. Но так быстро как ми бэнд 4 у меня не выключался ни один девайс. Он просто все рекорды бьёт. Как минимум на секунду быстрее чем онор тухнет. И это ужасно раздражает. И кстати кто не подписан подписываемя – на канале каждые две недели розыгрыш ми бэнд 4, за лайк подписку и комент. Полные условия в описании к видео. А ещё купить девайсы вы можете по сслыкам под обзором тамже, как и увидеть кэшбэк который я использую сам. 5) Размеры. И здесь ми бэнд 4 тоже дал в штангу. Он значительно больше онор бэнд 5. При том его аэродиномиеские качества тоже не выигрывают, онор более обтекаемый. Хотя острых краёв у него и больше. 6) Хрупкость дисплея. И если бы сегодня у меня не получилось бы всё-таки коцнуть дисплей онор бэнд 5, я бы сказал, что здесь топовый онор. Но учитывая в каких условиях его уголок откололся. Сейчас я официально заявляю – онор бэнд 5 поцарапать и разбить проще. Кстати на ми бэнд 4 у меня есть краш тест на канале. Как и на онор бэнд 4 и ми бжнд 3.А вот на онор бэнд 5 ещё нет. Если хотите краш тест – пишите в коментах. С удовольствием его подзорву. 7) Ремешок. Ремешок онора для меня удобнее. В нём совсем не потеет запятстье, очень удобно спать и я не верю что он может слететь. Это конечно крайне субъктивный момент. Но со мной многие пользователи этих девайсов абсолютно согласы. 8) Зарядка. Да это в 2019 всё ещё печаль. Меня в принципе достало каждый раз выколупывать капсулу ми бэнд 4 из браслета, и нет это не сложно. Сложно потом этот браслет по дому искать. То сам забудут. То сын спрячет. Онор бэнд 5 с его кредлом защёлкой удобнее и практичнее.

It's here! The Mi Band 4 is out, and I've tried it out over the last 10 days to make this review. Is it that big of an improvement over the Mi band 3? Let's find out how much better it really is... Let's go! The Xiaomi Mi Smart Band 4 finally has been given a full-color AMOLED display with almost double the resolution of the Mi Band 3 and it's got about double the brightness. The battery has been given a small upgrade (135 mAh) to still have the band last for around 20 days on a single charge. So this new display does not compromise the usage time; which is great. The Mi band 4 has 6-axis sensors for step counter and fitness tracking and this tracking also seems to have improved over the Mi Band 3 and is a bit more accurate. It also has an (improved) heart rate sensor. The Mi band 4 also has a swimming function in the fitness tracking menu to track your swimming. -And for as far that I have tested that over the last week it seemed to work very well. Also, Bluetooth has been upgraded to BLE 5.0 which should give better connectivity, faster transfer speeds and a longer range between your phone and the band. So overall, on most fronts, the Mi Band 4 has got some great improvements in both its functionality, as well as some minor design changes. The glass top of the display is not as round as the Mi Band 3. This gives the advantage of being a little bit less bulky, but I feel that it's easier to see the actual display underneath the glass so you can really see the edges of the display a bit more. The charger has been upgraded as well. The device fits in the new charger quite a lot better than on the previous generation, but the main downside here is that the chargers of the Mi Band 3 won't work with the new Mi Band 4. The strap seems to be exactly the same as on the Mi band 3 though, as I could fit the Mi band 3 in this strap with no problem. I feel that the main advantage of the Mi Band 4 surely is the brighter and full-color display. This not only allows for Xiaomi to design some cooler looking watch faces (a tonne of these can already be downloaded through the Mi-Fit APP right now) but it also offers a much-increased readability. -Also in brighter conditions like in sunshine, it's A LOT easier to read the display now, and that's probably the biggest advantage. Overall I feel that the Mi Band 4 has gotten some really nice improvements with no compromise in usage time, and no compromise in price as it seems to have the exact same price as the Mi Band 3. Even though it does make me feel that the Mi Smart Band 4 has been given the specs that the Mi Band 3 should have gotten, the fourth generation of Xiaomi's Smart band has been given some great improvements that really enhance its overall experience. The main downside I find that there is no NFC on the regular models (in China Xiaomi DOES have released an NFC-version), and it's too bad that the screen does not cover the full device. But well, this gives Xiaomi some time to possibly implement this on the Mi Band 5 in 2020? #xiaomi #miband4 #smartband4

Every couple of months or so, something new is out… really, There are only so many ways you can make it stand out from the crowd! And yet some do! Hence Today we’ll be comparing 2 bands that have become favorites in the fitness band market across the globe! We are putting the new 2020 Xiaomi Mi Band 5 vs last year’s Honor Band 5! The Mi Band 5 has hardly changed from the mi Band 4.. It remains an elongated oval shaped pellet that sits within the silicone band. And If previously you would charge the tracker by popping it out of the silicone strap, now you do it for purposes like changing the strap, since Xiaomi has finally decided to provide a magnetic pin charger which clips onto the back of the band. The Honor Band 5 has a more classic shape, more rectangular with rounded edges. And the capacipative button is much more pronounced than on the mi Band 5. While the back of the Mi Band 5 is sitting flat on top of your wrist, the HB5 has a rounded contour which hugs your wrist for additional comfort. In regards to actual straps, both bands have replaceable bands. but the obvious winner in regards to straps is the Honor Band 5, the strap has a watch like design, that is easy to slip on any time and anywhere. The Mi Band 5 continues to use the slip and snap strap which is a chore to put on.. forget about putting it on during exercise, the strap is fiddly and frankly not nearly as comfortable as the HB5’s strap. Another point is that with the watch like strap it’s much easier to find the perfect fit, mi band’s strap is always either too loose or to tight on my wrist.
