How Long Does it Take to Get a Wikipedia Page Approved?

When you submit a draft to Wikipedia for approval, it is a waiting game. However, it shouldn't take months. If the topic is notable and written within guidelines (tone, referencing, etc.) it should be approved rather quickly. If you hired someone to create a page and it has been pending for months, something is wrong with the draft (it is NOT about Wikipedia editors as they will approve well-written content quickly when notable).
